Good balloon flights fill up weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 3 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
Join a sunrise or sunset balloon flight from Siem Reap Province, with hotel pickup and an English-speaking driver. The balloon carries up to 25 people, though some flights use smaller baskets. Expect about 30 to 35 minutes above rice fields, villages, and Bakong Temple.

Join an English-speaking Cambodian scholar such as Phy or Nak for Angkor Wat, Khmer carvings, local history, and photo tips. Ride a tethered helium balloon for 12 minutes, weather permitting, then eat a Khmer lunch. Hotel pickup, transport, water, and a small group are included.
